LamiNest Cut
A desktop CAD/CAM application for 2D geometry and cutting preparation.
LamiNest Cut is actively being developed. The interface is not yet final. The ribbon layout and selected UI elements may change before release. Feature availability depends on the current stage of development.
What exists and what is in development
Core CAD and nesting capabilities are designed to work locally on Windows. Cloud services are being considered as an optional extension. A subscription describes the licensing model, not where the application runs.
The CAD document and geometry foundations are implemented in a basic scope. DXF import and export work for selected entities. The CAD interface and editing operations are partial. Envelope-based nesting is a limited MVP and True-Shape remains experimental. CAM is partial; full simulation and NC export are not confirmed.
Licence options
The page describes monthly, annual and lifetime licence models. Further updates require a paid extension; terms will be set before purchase is made available.
Planned scope
Planned areas include 2D CAD editing, improved exchange of supported DXF files, nesting development and validation, further CAM work, and basic production and quoting. These are staged development goals, not a list of current capabilities.
